MY BACKGROUND
My journey along the healing pathways began in the late 1970s when I first experienced hands on healing. It was also the first time that I was instructed on how to give this type of healing.
I have formalised my healing activities since then, with a Diploma of Reflexology, a Diploma of Facial Reflexology, a Diploma of Japanese Cosmo (face lifting) and attendance at and participation in many workshops/seminars and conferences for different therapies and modalities. I have also given many public presentations on my work. The work that I now do is, therefore, the result of years of theory and practical application for Reflexology and other healing modalities. I work from a home-based clinic in Canberra which is convenient and offers me flexibility.
I am passionate about my healing activities and my aim is to empower people to achieve good health and happiness.I treat each client according to their specific needs and ages. I also encourage my clients to understand, and to be active in the healing work that I do with them. Where appropriate, I teach them techniques to use by themselves.
The mind/body connection is recognised as being crucial in healing modalities today. I have found that I can address these for the benefit of my clients through a combination of physical work with reflexology and the emotional work with EFT. I support these with other energy therapies including Pranic Healing, Reiki, Theta Healing and Bush Flower Essences. Over the years my clients have responded positively after I have worked with them for many conditions either physical and/or mental. These include acute physical conditions such as muscular/skeletal pain, asthma and emotional states such as post natal depression, post traumatic stress disorder, grief, loss and trauma.

In order to maintain my credentials and to expand my knowledge about health issues generally, and specific healing modalities in particular, I attend relevant workshops each year and research widely about health issues.
